Your appointment request if not Pre bookable will be triaged by a GP
We may then offer you a consultation:
- Face to face at the surgery
- By phone
- On a video call
- By text or email
Please be advised that you may be referred to or signposted to an alternative healthcare provider if clinically appropriate.
Once we have reached safe working levels you will be directed to 111 for clinical triage.
On the day/ urgent appointment requests:
We offer a triage system for all on the day appointment requests. You will be asked to submit via our accuRx platform if able, or via telephone where you will be asked for information regarding your problem, this will be passed to our on-call GP who will make a clinical decision on whether you need to be seen on that day or up to 14 days if clinically appropriate. You will be contacted by a member of the administration team with the outcome of your triage request and an appointment or signposting advice will be made during this call.
Pre bookable appointments (up to 14 days):
There are a number of appointments made available weekly for pre bookable appointments at the surgery with various clinicians.
These can be booked via:
Home Visits
If you are housebound or temporarily housebound you can request a home visit. To request a home visit, contact the surgery before 10.30am where possible.
Remember that we can see several patients at the practice in the time it takes for one home visit. Patients should have their appointment at the surgery if they can and are able to do so.
Please note that lack of transport is not a reason to request a home visit.
This will either be by our PCN paramedic team or a GP at the surgery.
